Sunday Services 9:00am

Children’s Sunday School classes held during church service, after the Scripture readings and children’s message. All youth K-5 are welcome.

Welcome our corner of the world! We are a rural LCMC Congregation with a heart for sharing God’s love with our neighbors. We gather for worship each Sunday at 9am and invite anyone who is looking to experience God’s presence to join us.

During the school year, we have Sunday school during the service for any kids in grades K-5 with the older kids and adult volunteers helping the younger kids learn about God through age appropriate Bible study. Children are invited to come forward to hear a special children’s message and then dismissed to their Sunday school time with a volunteer teacher of the week.

While we tend to have a more traditional worship format, anyone and everyone of any age is welcome! If you are worried about young children being disruptive, we have a nursery area for parents to use which includes a live broadcast of the service via CCTV, toys and activities for small children, and space for mom or dad to sit in comfort. We are blessed to have two gifted organists who take turns leading us in song each week from their perch in the balcony. Musicians and vocalists are encouraged to join into the team of helping us worship each week.

Our Pastor is currently Sara Heutinck who serves the congregation parttime and Ingham Okoboji Lutheran Bible Camps parttime. In addition to Sunday services, she is involved in Confirmation classes, Mighty Warriors Kids, Mighty Warriors Youth, and other special services at church. In general, she is at the church 1 or 2 days in addition to Sunday services. You can learn more about her by visiting her page.
